أنهى المركز الوطني لإدارة النفايات (موان) المخطط الإستراتيجي الشامل لتغطية جميع مناطق المملكة، باكتمال 22 مخططًا إقليميًا، كان آخرها مخطط منطقة الدوادمي الذي أُطلق بتاريخ 20 يوليو 2025. ويستهدف المخطط تطوير 500 فرصة استثمارية بقيمة تتجاوز 750 مليار ريال و900 بنية تحتية داعمة، واستبعاد 90% من النفايات عن المرادم بحلول عام 2040، وتوفير أكثر من 76 ألف وظيفة نوعية، فيما ارتفعت نسبة استبعاد النفايات عن المرادم حتى الآن من 5% إلى 18%.
