The National Center for Waste Management (Mwan) launched a set of 14 controls and technical guides for the Waste Management Law and its Implementing Regulation, issued pursuant to a ministerial decision dated 01/07/1446 AH. The guides cover design, construction and operation of waste facilities, standards for classification, storage, transport, treatment and licensing, inspection and audit mechanisms, healthcare-waste management, and landfill acceptance criteria.
