Prince Faisal bin Salman, Emir of the Madinah Region, was briefed on the roles of the National Center for Waste Management (Mwan) and the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SRC), during a meeting with Mwan CEO Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabai and SRC CEO Eng. Ziad Al-Shiha. SRC presented plans to invest about SAR 4 billion over 15 years to reach roughly 94% landfill diversion. SRC, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, was established by royal order as PIF's investment arm in the waste management sector.
