No action neededAwareness

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has affirmed that health certificates are a fundamental requirement for workers in food and public health establishments, including restaurants, cafés, bakeries, food retail outlets, barbershops, women's salons, laundries, and relaxation and body-care centres. Certificates are issued electronically through the 'Baladi' platform and application, following verification of the worker's profession, shop licence, and licence activity. Obtaining the certificate requires a medical examination at an accredited health authority to confirm the worker is free of contagious diseases, and passing a health-awareness test in cities where the programme applies. The certificate is valid for one year from its date of issuance and may be renewed up to 60 days before expiry.
