Launch of the Thirteenth World Urban Forum in Baku with the Convening of the High-Level Ministerial Meeting

The 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), organized by UN-Habitat, opened in Baku, Azerbaijan with a high-level ministerial meeting under the theme "Global Housing: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities." The ministerial meeting discussed urban expansion challenges, sustainable housing policy development, and digital transformation in urban planning. Saudi Arabia participated with an official delegation headed by Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, presenting the Kingdom's achievements in sustainable urban development under Vision 2030 through a national pavilion featuring more than 20 government, private, and non-profit entities.
