Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: Inspection of More Than 5,000 Food Samples and Execution of More Than 29,000 Regulatory Visits to Serve the Guests of the Most Merciful

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Holy Capital Municipality, conducted more than 29,000 regulatory visits to catering kitchens and food establishments in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the holy sites during Hajj 1447 AH, alongside inspection of more than 5,000 food samples via mobile and fixed laboratories. The oversight system operated through 5 mobile laboratories, 10 on-site testing devices, and about 40 inspection vehicles, and the Ministry stated that no food poisoning cases had been recorded during the season so far.
