The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is inviting the public, specialists, and relevant entities to submit their views and suggestions on a proposed update to the Work Guide at Construction Sites via the "Istitlaa" platform. The proposed updates include strengthening occupational health and safety requirements at construction sites through integrated safety and environmental plans supervised by qualified specialists, expanding insurance coverage to protect workers and related parties, raising standards for the operation and inspection of equipment and cranes, and enhancing waste management requirements in line with approved environmental regulations. The Ministry aims to enrich the updated guide through public and specialist participation to improve construction site safety and project quality across the Kingdom.
