Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: 8,427 Saudi Families Benefited from Housing Support during January 2026

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that 8,427 Saudi families benefited from housing support services during January 2026 across various regions of the Kingdom, under the Sakani programme. The Riyadh region accounted for 26% of beneficiaries, followed by Makkah at 18% and the Eastern Region at 14%, with the daily average of residential product contracts reaching 428 contracts per day. Total contracts signed since the programme's launch in 2017 through the end of January 2026 reached 1,016,886, while the Minister previously announced that the homeownership rate among Saudi families exceeded 66.24% by end of 2025.
