The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is intensifying efforts to raise compliance among vacant land owners ahead of a corrective period deadline set for 15/4/1448 AH. The current phase focuses on enforcing municipal requirements for vacant lands, addressing violations such as the accumulation of construction waste and unlawful land use that detract from the urban landscape. Municipalities and local authorities are conducting ongoing field monitoring across the Kingdom's regions, and land owners are urged to remedy non-compliant conditions before the deadline to avoid regulatory penalties.
