Minister of Municipalities and Housing Discusses Strengthening Strategic Partnership and Expanding Real Estate Investment Horizons with His Turkish Counterpart

The Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, met with Turkey's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, in Riyadh to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in housing, real estate development, and urban development. Al-Hogail noted that Turkish contracting companies have executed 434 projects in Saudi Arabia worth USD 32.5 billion, and cited 2025 GDP figures of over USD 1.28 trillion for Saudi Arabia and USD 1.60 trillion for Turkey. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the two ministries to enhance institutional cooperation and support joint urban development initiatives.
