Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: More than 8,700 Saudi families benefited from housing support during February 2026

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing reported that 8,761 Saudi families benefited from housing support services during February 2026, under the "Sakani" program, with 6,154 families moving into their first home that month. Since the start of the year through end of February 2026, total beneficiaries reached 17,188 families, with 14,160 families having moved in, at an average daily execution of 507 housing contracts. Riyadh accounted for the highest share of February's housing contracts at 19%, followed by Makkah at 18% and the Eastern Region at 13%. Since Sakani launched in 2017, total subsidized contracts reached 1,023,653 by end of February 2026.
