Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: More than 17,000 male and female volunteers participate in serving the guests of the Rahman during Hajj season 1447 AH

وزارة البلديات والإسكان: أكثر من 17 ألف متطوع ومتطوعة يشاركون في خدمة ضيوف الرحمن خلال موسم حج 1447هـ

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by regional municipality secretariats, announced that more than 17,000 male and female volunteers have participated in serving the guests of the Rahman during Hajj season 1447 AH, with over 5,100 volunteers actively deployed in the holy sites. Volunteer activities included guiding pilgrims to their locations, supporting crowd management and movement between holy sites, assisting in searches for missing persons in coordination with relevant authorities, and distributing necessities such as umbrellas, water bottles, and hygiene items. The Ministry affirmed that the municipal volunteering programme supports the efficiency of municipal services during Hajj and reflects community participation in serving pilgrims.
