Minister of Municipalities and Housing Chairs the Kingdom's Delegation Participating in the High-Level General Assembly Meeting on the New Urban Agenda

On Sunday, 12 July 2026, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, began a visit to New York to chair the Kingdom's delegation participating in the UN High-Level General Assembly meeting on the New Urban Agenda, held at UN headquarters as a mid-term review of the Agenda's implementation. The Minister delivered the Kingdom's statement in the main session, presenting Saudi experience in urban development and the Kingdom's progress report on implementing the New Urban Agenda, highlighting integration between urban planning, the economy, and quality of life.
