Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: Inspection of 1,300 Samples Daily and Implementation of More Than 2,800 Supervisory Visits in Makkah and the Holy Sites

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing intensified health and food-safety inspections in Makkah and the Holy Sites for Hajj 1447 AH, deploying over 380 food-supply and safety monitors and 403 environmental sanitation staff. Supervisory work is supported by 5 advanced laboratories able to test up to 1,300 samples daily (about one sample every minute), and monitors conduct more than 2,800 supervisory visits daily to food and commercial establishments.
