Ministry of Municipalities and Housing Participates in the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing participated, as part of the Saudi delegation, in the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in New York, in a session on "Sustainable Cities and Local Communities." Anmar bin Abdulrahman Shabana, Director of the Urban Economy and Resilience Department at the Urban Planning and Land Agency, noted that home ownership reached 66.24% by the end of 2025 (approaching the Saudi Vision 2030 target of 70%), and that about 75% of the population has access to public spaces, supported by initiatives including the "Bahjah" project, which added more than 12 million square meters of developed community spaces.
