Ministry of Municipalities and Housing: Convening of the First Meeting of the Sectoral Skills Council for the Construction and Real Estate Activities Sector in Its Second Session

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing held the first meeting of the Sectoral Skills Council for the Construction and Real Estate Activities Sector in its second session, chaired by the Ministry's Deputy Minister for Human Capacity Development in the Municipal and Housing Sector, Turki bin Abdullah Al-Dubaikhi, with participation from government entities, the private sector, and educational and training bodies. The meeting reviewed the role of sectoral skills councils, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, aimed at building a national skills development system by identifying sector skill needs and future skills. The council discussed priorities including identifying skills and indicators for the construction and real estate sector, monitoring skills gaps, and launching initiatives to raise national workforce readiness.
