At the IENA International Exhibition for the Non-Profit Sector 2026, a trilateral agreement was signed between 'Support and Empowerment of the Mobile Merchant', the developmental housing foundation 'Sakan', and 'Kafaa for Operations and Civil Maintenance' to launch the 'Empowerment and Housing' initiative. The initiative aims to provide developmental housing solutions by assessing beneficiaries' social and housing conditions and offering housing programmes and products to improve quality of life and enhance family stability. The agreement includes implementation of developmental housing programmes, most notably the 'Waad' rent-to-own programme, in partnership with relevant financing and development entities.
