Ministry of Justice Circular 8/T/98 addresses frequent inquiries regarding requests for istihkam (title-confirmation) deeds in two situations: where a property is registered in one person's name but contains palm trees individually owned by several other people (one or two palms per person), and where a property is jointly owned by living and deceased heirs whose shares are hard to determine and who are too numerous and dispersed to all grant power of attorney.
