The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Conducts the Second Simulation Exercise for Transporting and Dispatching Pilgrims

Today, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah carried out the second hypothesis experiment for transporting and voyaging pilgrims in the holy sites, under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, and witnessed the participation of more than 40 ministries and bodies concerned with serving the pilgrims, in addition to 76 offices for pilgrims' affairs, and this comes within the framework of the preparations and proactive efforts made by the ministry for this year's Hajj season 1445, with the aim of raising the state of maximum alert on the ground in the holy sites, and ensuring the effectiveness of technical systems and their integration with Infrastructure, to support the work of voicing and transportation, testing the operational and planning capacity of companies, and raising the efficiency of workers.The hypothesis aims to simulate the transport of more than 1.33 million pilgrims, from domestic and foreign pilgrims, through more than 37,000 flights, including 28,800 frequency transfers, and more than 8,000 traditional transport, through 600 targeted operating points, in the holy sites.The hypothesis included 5 targeted voyage operations, across 12 main routes of the movement, including 4,000 buses from 63 transport companies, in partnership with all security and regulatory authorities in Hajj, and more than 12,000 participants, and the simulation includes 6 voyage operations, from the pilgrims' residences in Makkah Al-Mukarramah to Mina, then their escalation to the Arafa hair, followed by the process of elaboration to Muzdalifah, and the exodus from Muzdalifah to Mina, and ending with the process of transporting them to the Grand Mosque in Mecca to perform the farewell tawaf.It is worth noting that this current hypothesis experiment is the second, out of 5 experiments implemented by the ministry according to the specified times, while the first hypothesis experiment was at the end of the last Sha'ban, to ensure the readiness of the system for the Hajj season for this year 1445.
