The Minister of Hajj and Umrah Concludes Official Visit to Malaysia

His Excellency Dr. Tawfig bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, concluded an official visit to Malaysia today, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the guests of Allah service system in both the public and private sectors. During the visit, he discussed with Malaysian officials and heads of Umrah companies ways to facilitate and enhance the Umrah journey for pilgrims coming from Malaysia. At the beginning of the visit, Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Anwar Ibrahim received Dr. Tawfig Al-Rabiah in the presence of Malaysian Minister of Religious Affairs Dr. Mohd Na'im Mokhtar. The Prime Minister praised Saudi Arabia's initiatives to improve the Umrah experience and simplify procedures, affirming the close relationship between the two countries. The meeting also touched on strengthening bilateral relations and ways to enhance services for Malaysian pilgrims. His Excellency held a series of meetings with stakeholders involved in serving Malaysian pilgrims from both the public and private sectors. These meetings concluded with the decision to establish a joint working group to explore expanding the "Makkah Route Initiative" to include Malaysian Umrah pilgrims, as well as the possibility of applying the Malaysian Hajj Fund Board experience, "Tabung Haji," in other countries. Regarding digital services, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah announced the upcoming availability of the "Nusuk" App in the Malay language to ensure easy and fast services for Malaysian pilgrims. Both Saudi and Malaysian sides affirmed their commitment to joint efforts to counter fraudulent Hajj campaigns to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims throughout their spiritual journey, utilizing official and accredited channels for planning Hajj and Umrah trips. During his meeting with the heads of Umrah companies, on the sidelines of the "Nusuk" exhibition opening, the Minister reviewed Saudi Arabia's innovative initiatives through the digital experience in serving the guests of Allah. He highlighted the role of the "Nusuk Wallet" in providing digital solutions for pilgrims to manage funds during their journey without the need to carry cash. He also discussed the role of "Nusuk Enayah Centers" in providing direct services through a unified system with 178 service points, in addition to the "Nusuk ID Card," which facilitates access to the holy sites and eases obtaining services during Hajj rituals. The Minister also covered ongoing development and expansion efforts in the Two Holy Mosques, including increasing the capacity of Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah through organized entry permits, as well as continuous efforts to renovate 100 historic Islamic sites to enrich the spiritual journeys of pilgrims
