The Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah inspected the accommodations of Iranian pilgrims in Makkah and met with the Head of the Iranian Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

The Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, today inspected the accommodations of Iranian pilgrims in Makkah to ensure their well-being and to review the quality of services provided to them. This action comes in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, based on what His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may Allah preserve them – presented regarding facilitating all the needs of Iranian pilgrims and providing them with all services until conditions are ready for their safe return to their homeland and families. During the tour, the Deputy Minister also visited the office of Iranian Pilgrims Affairs in Makkah and met with the Head of the Iranian Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Dr. Ali Bayat. The meeting discussed arrangements and mechanisms that ensure the comfort and safety of the pilgrims throughout their stay in the Kingdom. Dr. Ali Bayat expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude for the care and attention that Iranian pilgrims receive from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and all concerned authorities to facilitate the procedures for the Guests of Allah and ensure their comfort and safety.
