The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque and the Royal Commission for Makkah and the Holy Sites, issued the “Umrah Guide for Domestic Pilgrims” as part of the “Coming for Umrah” campaign. This initiative aims to enable pilgrims and visitors to access the most important guidance and organizational information they need during their spiritual journey, facilitating the performance of rituals and enhancing the quality of their experience. The guide serves as an interactive awareness reference providing comprehensive content covering pilgrims’ needs, from prayer times and how to reach them, to transportation options and methods of reaching Makkah and Madinah, and guidance on moving within the two cities. It also highlights the main services and facilities available at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque through interactive maps and direct links showing entrances, gates, and key support services. The guide includes specific instructions for visiting the Rawdah Sharifah, explaining how to reserve visits via the “Nusuk” app, and highlights several historical sites and enrichment destinations, enhancing the spiritual experience of pilgrims and visitors. The guide provides content in an engaging interactive style, supported with images and direct links allowing quick access to related services, and includes a set of awareness messages and organizational and health guidance to assist pilgrims in performing their rituals smoothly and easily. Issuing the guide reflects the integration of all entities involved in serving the Guests of Allah. It extends the ongoing efforts to improve pilgrims’ and visitors’ experiences, raise their awareness, and support digital transformation in services, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
