Ministry of Hajj and Umrah": Adherence to Tawaf Regulations Enhances Movement Flow and Reassures Umrah Performers
"وزارة الحج والعمرة": الالتزام بتنظيمات الطواف يعزز انسيابية الحركة وطمأنينة المعتمرين
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah called on the Guests of Allah to observe the approved regulations for performing Tawaf in the Grand Mosque, contributing to organized movement within the Mataf and facilitating the performance of rituals for everyone, ensuring smooth flow and enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance. The Ministry clarified that the Mataf floor ""ground level"" is designated for Umrah performers only to ease movement and allow smooth Tawaf, urging adherence to the designated Tawaf paths. It noted that Tawaf is also available on upper floors according to capacity and approved operational regulations. It emphasized that key guidelines contributing to smooth movement in the Mataf include starting Tawaf aligned with the Black Stone, moving gently while following the Tawaf path, avoiding moving against the direction, and not obstructing other pilgrims. Adhering to these guidelines enhances pilgrim safety and organizes movement within the Mataf. The Ministry highlighted the ongoing efforts of the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in serving visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, including providing a service to view crowd density in the Mataf and Sa’i. Umrah performers are encouraged to check crowd density before performing rituals and select the appropriate floor for Tawaf and Sa’i via: https://alharamain.gov.sa/public/?module=module_794625 . Additionally, the ""Umrah and Visit Guide,"" which explains Tawaf instructions and related regulations within a comprehensive awareness system designed to facilitate the journey of Guests of Allah and enable them to perform rituals with ease and reassurance, can be accessed via: https://haj.gov.sa/ar/Awareness-Center/Awareness-Guides/Umrah-and-Visit-Guide.
