The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has underscored the necessity for all Hajj affairs offices and service providers to educate pilgrims on the mandatory requirement of obtaining an official permit to perform Hajj for the current year, 1447 AH. This directive is part of the Ministry's commitment to ensuring the safety of the Guests of Allah, guaranteeing the quality of services, and enabling them to perform their rituals in a secure and organized environment. The Ministry clarified that performing Hajj is strictly limited to those holding official permits from the competent authorities. It emphasized that there will be zero tolerance for any attempts to perform Hajj without a permit, as this constitutes a clear violation of regulations and instructions, subjecting violators to legal penalties. Furthermore, the Ministry stressed that adhering to formal procedures enhances safety and organizational levels, improves crowd management efficiency, ensures smooth movement within the Holy Sites, and elevates the overall experience for the Guests of Allah during the season. In this context, the Ministry noted that coordination with Hajj affairs offices and service providers began immediately following the end of last year's Hajj season. This has involved regular meetings and ongoing awareness programs aimed at fostering compliance with regulations and highlighting the importance of adhering to approved requirements. Such efforts contribute to achieving the highest standards of safety and organization while enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
