The General Authority of Civil Aviation Wins the "Labeeṭum" Award for Excellence in Serving the Guests of Allah

The General Authority of Civil Aviation, represented by His Excellency the Chairman of the Authority, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duwailij, won the "Labeeṭum" Award for Excellence in Serving the Guests of Allah, as part of the activities of the 4th Hajj Conference and Exhibition held from January 13 to 16 in Jeddah. The recognition was granted in appreciation of its initiative in developing the regulatory framework for the “Bag-Free Traveler” service, implemented by the Airports Holding Company, which had a positive impact in facilitating, organizing, and streamlining the departure procedures for pilgrims during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. The “Bag-Free Traveler” initiative aims to serve travelers arriving and departing without the burden of luggage, enhancing the travel experience and providing greater comfort for pilgrims, contributing to the Kingdom’s vision of offering exceptional services to Hajj and Umrah visitors. Within the activities of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, His Excellency the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duwailij, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate and organize the air departure procedures of pilgrims, as part of the 4th Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah. The memorandum is part of joint cooperation between government entities to achieve common goals in serving the Guests of Allah and establishing a general framework for shared tasks, activities, and responsibilities. It is worth noting that the General Authority of Civil Aviation participates within the Transportation System Pavilion at the 4th Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, held under the theme "Path to the Pilgrimage," organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah at the “Jeddah Super Dome” from January 13 to 16, 2025. This participation aims to strengthen cooperation with various relevant government entities through integration, empowerment, and communication, providing a seamless and distinguished experience that elevates the services offered to the Guests of Allah.
