The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the number of Umrah visas issued to arrivals from outside the Kingdom has exceeded 190,000 visas since the beginning of the Umrah season for the Hijri year 1447 AH up to today. The Ministry had announced the start of the Umrah season beginning Tuesday, 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH, with visa issuance through the "Nusuk" platform, marking a new phase of facilitation for the guests of Allah and continuing the development journey that the Kingdom pursues within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030. The Ministry confirmed that the issuance of Umrah permits for pilgrims actually began on Wednesday, 15 Dhu al-Hijjah, via the "Nusuk" app, which serves as the unified digital platform for providing government services to pilgrims and visitors. It allows users to book and issue permits easily, alongside a set of digital services supporting the pilgrim’s experience. This early demand for the Umrah season comes following a successful Hajj season that witnessed integrated performance, improved procedures, and developed technical infrastructure, contributing to raising the efficiency of services provided to both Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers alike. The Ministry indicated that technical and operational preparations for the new season began early, in coordination with relevant authorities, to ensure smooth procedures and sustainable development, while expanding the provision of awareness content and digital services in several languages, reflecting the Kingdom’s leadership in serving the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques and achieving the highest levels of comfort, safety, and satisfaction for pilgrims.
