The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University, announced the launch of the “Humanizing the Holy Sites” Hackathon, which aims to bring together engineers, designers, and specialists to present innovative solutions that contribute to improving and facilitating the Hajj and Umrah experience. The hackathon will address multiple themes to enhance pilgrims’ comfort and ease their movement within the holy sites, with a focus on project sustainability and achieving the highest levels of service. This initiative comes as part of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s efforts to benefit from creative ideas and modern technologies that can help elevate the level of services provided to the Guests of Allah, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the sector and achieve excellence in Hajj and Umrah services.
