Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is implementing the third hypothetical experiment to simulate the transport and group-guiding of 1.4 million pilgrims

H E the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfig bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, witnessed the launch of the third simulation operations carried out by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU) today, to transport and group-guide pilgrims to the holy sites, with a total number of hours amounting to 30 continuous hours. The event also witnessed the participation of more than 40 ministries and bodies concerned with serving the guests of Allah, which covers more than 95% of the actual camp sites for pilgrims, and include more than 900 targeted operating points, as part of the Ministry’s preparations and proactive efforts for this year’s Hajj season 1445 H, with the aim of reaching maximum field readiness in the Holy Sites, and ensuring the effectiveness and integration of the technical systems with infrastructure, to support group-guiding and transport work, test the operational and planning capacity of companies, and raise the efficiency of workers, as the hypothesis aimed to simulate the transport and group-guiding of approximately 1.4 million pilgrims, from domestic and foreign pilgrims, through more than 65000 trips. The hypothesis included five targeted group-guiding operations, across 14 main traffic routes, in which more than 8,000 buses representing 63 transport companies participated, in partnership with all security and regulatory authorities in Hajj, and more than 20,000 participants. This third hypothesis experiment is out of five experiments carried out by the MoHU according to the specified times. The Ministry reviewed the results of the indicators of the second experiment, with the aim of raising readiness to serve the guests of Allah.
