وزارة الحج والعمرة تستعرض حلولها التقنية في خدمة ضيوف الرحمن خلال ملتقى إعلام الحج
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah showcased its most prominent technological projects and initiatives dedicated to serving the Guests of Allah during its participation in the second edition of the Hajj Media Forum, held from 5 to 8 Dhu al-Hijjah. The forum aims to provide an integrated media environment that supports media professionals in their coverage through the latest media platforms and technologies, contributing to enhancing innovation in content creation and local and international media coverage of the Hajj season 1446 AH. During its participation, the ministry presented a comprehensive overview of its qualitative initiatives, foremost among them the employment of digital technology to facilitate the journey of the Guests of Allah and elevate their experience in performing rituals in an atmosphere of security and reassurance. Among the most notable initiatives is the digital “Nusuk” Card, which includes pilgrims’ personal, health, and accommodation data, and is used for verification processes at the entrances of camps and service facilities, enhancing organizational accuracy and contributing to access control and the prevention of unauthorized entry. The ministry also highlighted the “Nusuk” application, which serves as a unified platform for pilgrims, enabling them to issue permits, book services, access guidance manuals, and receive alerts in multiple languages, thereby enhancing mobility flexibility, ease of access to information, and supporting the smooth performance of rituals at all stages. In addition, the ministry underscored its efforts in activating smart grouping systems and digital guidance applications, which contribute to improving movement experiences within the holy sites and are efficiently managed through artificial intelligence technologies. As part of developing monitoring and guidance tools, the ministry shed light on the Monitoring and Control Center, an integrated technological system that connects a range of tracking and surveillance systems in the holy sites, analyzes data in real time, and issues precise field directives that help regulate crowds and enhance pilgrim safety. The ministry also announced the launch of “Nusuk AI,” an intelligent assistant powered by artificial intelligence, enabling pilgrims to ask questions verbally or in writing and receive instant responses in more than 100 languages, representing a qualitative leap in real-time communication without the need for direct human intervention. The ministry affirmed that these technological initiatives are part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to enhance Hajj and Umrah services and provide a safe and facilitated environment that enables pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and convenience, in line with an ambitious vision consistent with national transformation goals and Saudi Vision 2030. It is worth noting that the second edition of the forum has witnessed wide participation of more than 5,000 media professionals and visitors representing over 150 media outlets, with the participation of more than 15 entities from the governmental and private sectors. This comes as a continuation of the success achieved by the previous edition, which recorded attendance exceeding 2,000 media professionals and visitors, and active participation from 15 entities across 11 regions.
