The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah signs a memorandum of understanding with the General Directorate of Prisons

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Directorate of Prisons (GDP), with the aim of achieving social and rehabilitative benefits for inmates. The MoU is an extension of the cooperative partnership between the two sides, aiming to activate the competencies and responsibilities of each party in order to achieve common goals. The signing ceremony took place in the Holy City of Makkah, where the MoHU was represented by the Undersecretary for Hajj Affairs, Dr. Ayed bin Mohammed Al-Ghuwaynem, and the GDP by its chief Major General Majid bin Bandar Al-Dawish. The document is one of the initiatives of the MoHU to integrate with all relevant authorities, in order to continuously develop the level of services for the guests of Allah, and to facilitate the performance of rituals for all visitors of the Two Holy Mosques coming from inside and outside the Kingdom
