The activities and events of the third edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum continued for the second consecutive day. Held from March 30 to April 1, 2026, the forum features broad participation from government, private, and non-profit sectors, along with several international entities, within a platform bringing together specialists and decision-makers to develop the Umrah and Ziyarah ecosystem and elevate the experience of the Guests of Rahman. On its second day, the forum witnessed the presentation of strategic visions contributing to shaping the future features of the sector. This occurred through meetings that brought together leaders and relevant authorities to review experiences and practices supporting service development and enhancing paths to improve the spiritual journey for Umrah performers and visitors. The events included specialized training workshops presented by experts, addressing topics that contribute to raising service quality and activating innovation in the journey of the Guest of Rahman through practical sessions that enrich knowledge and support skill development across various fields of the sector. Participants were also briefed on interactive experiences showcasing advanced operational and cognitive solutions. These include the automation of procedures and cultural experiences related to Madinah. Meanwhile, the forum witnessed the conclusion of several memoranda of understanding and the building of strategic and knowledge-based partnerships between participating entities, aiming to develop sustainable business models that enhance service integration and contribute to supporting development paths in the Umrah and Ziyarah sector. In terms of innovation, the forum organized an "Innovation Camp" as part of the stages of the Historical and Enrichment Sites Hackathon. This event brought together young talents to develop innovative solutions supported by modern technologies to contribute to documenting and highlighting historical sites, enhancing the visiting experience through modern interactive methods, spreading historical knowledge, and raising awareness of its civilized value. The activities also hosted specialized enrichment areas providing interactive and cultural experiences. These included stations embodying the history of Madinah through cognitive content supported by visual media, immersive experiences, and storytelling, which contribute to deepening the visitor's connection to the place and enriching their experience. For the second consecutive day, the exhibition accompanying the forum—with the participation of more than 150 local and international exhibitors—presents the latest solutions and operational models in the fields of smart transport, hospitality, digital services, and sustainability, alongside crowd management technologies and visitor experience development. The exhibition serves as an interactive platform to explore best practices and build qualitative partnerships between various entities, thereby enhancing service integration, elevating the quality of the Umrah performer and visitor experience, and confirming the Kingdom's position in developing the Umrah and Ziyarah service ecosystem.
