The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has established a special operations room to monitor the situation of Iranian pilgrims around the clock and meet all their needs in Mecca and Medina, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, based on what was presented by the Crown Prince regarding facilitating all the needs of Iranian pilgrims and providing all services for them until conditions are ready for their safe return to their homeland and families. The ministry stated that its working teams conducted a comprehensive and precise review of the level of services provided to them in their accommodations, totaling about 76,000 pilgrims, ensuring the continuous provision of high-quality care and service throughout their stay in the Kingdom until their departure. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in direct coordination with various relevant authorities in the Kingdom, has developed a comprehensive departure plan according to the requests of the Iranian side responsible for pilgrim affairs, ensuring smooth procedures and seamless transit at all stages. The plan includes their departure on domestic flights via King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina to Arar Airport, then by land through the Arar-Jadidah border to continue their journey to Iran. The actual implementation of the plan began yesterday, Friday, with the Ministry’s teams continuing to provide full care and direct service to the Iranian pilgrims until their safe departure from the Kingdom, as part of the comprehensive care that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia extends to all guests of the Two Holy Mosques from around the world.
