The Minister of Hajj and Umrah begins an official visit to Kazakhstan

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, began today an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques. During the visit, the Minister will discuss several strategic issues, most notably improving the performance of the Umrah system through developing partnerships with relevant authorities in Kazakhstan, facilitating electronic visa procedures, and enhancing integration in service delivery, contributing to elevating the experience of Umrah performers and visitors from Kazakhstan, ensuring their journey runs smoothly from departure to return. Discussions will also include supporting national carriers and expanding their presence in the Kazakh market through increasing the number of direct flights and facilitating air transport, keeping pace with the growing demand to visit the Kingdom. The accompanying delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Saudi Embassy in Kazakhstan, the Guests of Allah Service Program, the Saudi Tourism Authority, Saudi Airlines, and Nas Air. This visit reaffirms the Kingdom’s mission rooted in serving Islam and Muslims, and its continuous commitment to enable Muslims worldwide to perform their rituals in an environment of reassurance and organization, reflecting the authentic Islamic values of hospitality and welcome.
