The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launches the “Cyber Awareness Guide” for the guests of Allah during Hajj 1445 H in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Authority

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU), in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), launched the “Cyber Awareness Guide” (CAG) for the guests of Allah during the Hajj season 1445 H, which aims to enhance and raise the level of awareness of cyber security, information protection and digital privacy, as part of the work of the program to enhance cyber security for the Hajj season 1445 H. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is keen to ensure the information security of the guests of Allah and maintain the confidentiality and protection of their data within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The CAG reviews the importance of cyber security awareness and its role in reducing cyber risks during the Hajj and Umrah season. It also addresses social engineering and phishing methods and how to avoid them, the importance of safe Internet browsing, application security, periodic mobile phone backups, and other topics. which would contribute to building a high cyber culture among the guests of Allah while performing their rituals through 16 languages provided by the guide which are available in the awareness guides section of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah website Haj.gov.sa/Guides
