Minister of Hajj concludes his visit to the UAE

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, concluded today his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which he held direct meetings with officials and authorities related to the provision of Umrah services, to discuss aspects of cooperation that ensure facilitating the arrival of Umrah pilgrims, and achieving ideal employment of the services of "Tasheer" centers, the "Nask" platform and visa facilities for residents to improve and develop the Umrah experience from the UAE.Al-Rabiah welcomed the pilgrims coming from the United Arab Emirates through various outlets, and throughout the year, during his meeting with the President of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Omar bin Habtoor Al-Darei, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to increase the number of Emirati Umrah pilgrims, and to provide the opportunity for the largest number of citizens and residents to reach the Two Holy Mosques, and perform rituals easily and conveniently.He stressed the continuation of efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving the highest levels of satisfaction in the hearts of pilgrims, and the sustainability of development and improvement in the services provided, taking advantage of digital solutions, indicating that the development in all fields witnessed by the Kingdom has reflected positively on the level of service to the pilgrims, in terms of digital transformation and enhancing the role of innovation in facilitating Hajj and Umrah services.During his meetings, Al Rabiah also discussed expanding the services of "Tasheer" centers and enabling residents in the UAE to register fingerprints before traveling, to reduce the waiting period for Umrah pilgrims at the ports, in addition to raising the level of quality of services at the ports for those coming by land, and speeding up and shortening entry procedures.The visit included the opening of the exhibition of the "Nesk" platform in the presence and participation of representatives of the private sector in the UAE, with the aim of introducing the platform's role in raising the efficiency of advance planning, and its services as a comprehensive platform for visiting the Kingdom, Islamic historical sites and various enrichment destinations, and the visit was accompanied by holding two workshops entitled "Voyage, crowds, and the rights of the pilgrim", to introduce the plans for pilgrims in the holy sites, which ensure their safety during the performance of the ritual, in addition to introducing the rights and duties of the guest of Rahman.
