Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari has launched the first edition of the "Hajj Media Forum" initiative, held from June 10 to 16, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Pilgrim Experience Program in Makkah. This forum is part of the Media Transformation Year initiatives announced by the Minister of Media three months ago during the third edition of the "Saudi Media Forum." The forum aims to provide a comprehensive media environment to support journalists in their coverage during the 1445 AH Hajj season, benefiting over 150 local, Arab, Islamic, and international media outlets and over 1,500 local and international journalists. It features 11 supportive media zones, an interactive media exhibition highlighting the services provided to pilgrims, a venue for press conferences, a fully equipped media center, various studios, live media injection vehicles, and the Virtual Press Center (VPC) managed by a specialized team through an interactive screen. Continuous updates and services are provided around the clock throughout the forum. The forum brings together all sectors of the media system in one place, supporting the work of journalists and media outlets by providing modern technologies for greater innovation in Hajj season coverage. Fifteen government and private entities participate in the "Transformation Window," including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Transport and Services. The forum celebrates interactive technologies, reflecting significant transformations in services provided to Allah's guests. The exhibition narrates major projects and achievements for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors and future projects at the holy sites. The forum includes several areas, such as the Welcome Gate, the Hospitality Area, the Transformation Window, the Conference Platform, the Studios and Live Broadcast Area, the Media Community Area, the Media Operations Room, the Hajj Journey Showcase Area, and the Relaxation Area. It spans approximately 6,000 square meters at the Makkah Exhibition and Events Center, hosted by the Makkah Chamber of Commerce, the forum's hosting partner.
