Deputy Emir of Makkah inaugurates tomorrow Hajj and Umrah Services Conference 2024

7 January 2024 Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him - the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, will open tomorrow evening, Monday, the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition 2024.The conference is organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrims Service Program, "one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030", and will last four days, from January 8 to 11, in Jeddah "Super Dome".The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, said that the conference will provide many qualitative opportunities for the business sector that enrich the experience of pilgrims.He added: "Those interested in the Hajj and Umrah sector from within the Kingdom and more than 80 countries around the world meet to learn about distinctive initiatives, products, services and projects, and invest in innovative solutions and technologies that reflect the development witnessed by the Hajj and Umrah sector in the Kingdom."Al-Rabiah stressed that the facilities provided by the government of the Kingdom aim to improve the experiences of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, by providing services to those coming from around the world, by launching innovative services and technologies that contribute to facilitating the performance of rituals and raising the quality of services provided.From this standpoint, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is joining forces with the Pilgrims Service Program, "one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030", to launch this year's edition, under the slogan "The Road to Asceticism", to enhance readiness to face challenges and exchange experiences.A number of ministers, ambassadors and officials from various government agencies participate in the Hajj and Umrah system.In addition to reviewing the largest gathering of innovators and entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, large companies and the non-profit sector, to exchange experiences, discuss innovative ideas, and establish partnerships in various sectors that will contribute to improving the journey of pilgrims and enriching their experience.The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, will participate in the ministerial dialogue session with the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, the Mayor of the Holy Capital Musaed Al-Dawood, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Walid Al-Khereiji, to talk about the efforts provided by the Kingdom to improve the services provided to pilgrims.On the other hand, and in a special meeting, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, will speak in a dialogue session with a number of speakers about the ministry's role in supporting entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises to provide high-quality services to pilgrims.There will be a number of sessions and workshops to discuss topics such as: future visions for the development of holy cities and sites, preserving the rights of pilgrims, integration with the Hajj and Umrah system, and other sessions and workshops.The conference contributes to providing many competitive opportunities for the business sector, in order to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, by encouraging leadership and innovation, and highlighting the urgent need to stimulate cooperation between sectors and activities related to serving the pilgrims, to find solutions to future challenges in this sector, in light of the technical transformation that the Kingdom is experiencing, and the global trends to adopt artificial intelligence solutions, which have become an urgent requirement.More than 200 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition accompanying the conference, ranging from government agencies, the private sector in all its categories, the non-profit sector, entrepreneurs and innovators, and the number of visitors to the exhibition this year is expected to exceed more than 100,000 visitors.
