Coinciding with the Hajj season 1445 H, and emanating from the Kingdom Vision 2030, the Licensing and Training Center (LTC) for Workers in the sector of serving the pilgrims at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU) held two workshops, in partnership with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), targeting service organizers and providers, to raise the quality of performance of workers in serving the guests of Allah, in a way that contributes to creating an exceptional experience for the guests of Allah, and enables participants to have the correct knowledge and focus on all aspects related to the pilgrim’s journey. The training operations are led by an elite group of young national cadres, who have experience and professional knowledge in this field, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to improve the experience of pilgrims, through the establishment of training programs in several fields. In the two workshops, held remotely, representatives and delegates of member states from 16 countries, in addition to representatives and officials of the MoHU, and OIC’s institutions and relevant bodies took part, within the framework of implementing the recommendations that emerged from the meeting of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfig bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, with representatives of member states and officials of OIC’s bodies and institutions, to provide the best conditions for pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance. The LTC seeks to license and train workers to achieve three main goals: highlighting the efforts made and preparations for the Hajj season 1445 H, developing the human capabilities of workers in the system of serving the guests of Allah, and strengthening the partnership with OIC. LTC contributed to the training of more than 48000 beneficiaries, representing Hajj affairs offices, tourism companies, and service provision companies, in ten countries around the world
