The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued the “Umrah and Visit Guide” in 16 global languages, aiming to enable pilgrims to access guidance and regulatory information in their own languages, thereby enhancing awareness and facilitating the performance of rituals with ease and reassurance. The guide serves as an interactive awareness reference covering all stages of the Umrah and visit journey, starting from pre-travel preparation, through visa and permit procedures, performing the rituals, moving within the Two Holy Mosques, and concluding with departure procedures. The guide follows a chronological approach, allowing pilgrims and visitors to quickly access content relevant to each stage of their journey, supported by visual elements and digital links for maps, instructional videos, and supporting services. It covers a wide range of topics, including Ihram instructions, Tawaf, Sa’i, etiquette of the Two Holy Mosques, as well as key services within Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi, and organizational and behavioral guidelines that help maintain calm and enhance the smooth flow of movement. The Ministry confirmed that issuing the “Umrah and Visit Guide” is part of its ongoing efforts to improve the pilgrim experience, enhance procedural and organizational awareness, and support digital transformation in services, facilitating the journey of pilgrims and visitors and raising the quality of services provided to them.
