وزارة الحج والعمرة تعلن تقويم موسم العمرة لعام 1448هـ
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced today the Umrah season calendar for the year 1448 AH. The calendar outlines the schedule and electronic services linked to visa issuance, contracting, and welcoming pilgrims. This comes as part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance operational efficiency, elevate the experience for the Guests of Allah, and raise the readiness of the Umrah ecosystem for the upcoming season. According to the calendar, the issuance of Umrah visas and the entry of pilgrims into the Kingdom will commence on Dhul-Hijjah 14, 1447 AH (May 31, 2026). Pilgrims can enter Makkah and issue Umrah permits via the "Nusuk" application starting Dhul-Hijjah 15 (June 1). Meanwhile, Shawwal 1, 1448 AH (March 9, 2027) will be the final date for Umrah visa issuance, and Shawwal 15, 1448 AH (March 23, 2027) will be the final date for Umrah pilgrim entry into the Kingdom. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that Shawwal 30, 1448 AH (April 7, 2027) will be the final date for Umrah pilgrim departure. The Ministry urged Umrah companies and external agents to strictly adhere to the approved dates and regulations to increase the ecosystem's capacity to welcome the Guests of Allah and deliver high-quality services throughout the season. The Ministry explained that the calendar's timeline initially launched on Ramadan 25, 1447 AH (March 4), with the service to book appointments for preliminary agreements between Umrah companies and external agents during the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum 2026. The forum was held and the agreements were signed on March 30 and April 1. This was followed on Shawwal 25 by a workshop to discuss lessons learned from the previous season and proposed solutions for 1448 AH, with the participation of various sectors across the Umrah ecosystem, followed by preparatory meetings with Umrah companies and external agents. Furthermore, the Ministry noted that the services to qualify external agents and document final contracts with Umrah companies via the Electronic Path were launched on Dhul-Qi'dah 24, 1447 AH (May 11). This was followed on Dhul-Qi'dah 25, 1447 AH (May 12, 2026) by contracting services between Umrah companies and service providers—covering accommodation, transportation, catering, enrichment services, and others—in addition to service package design via the Electronic Path.
