The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah organizes the “Creators of Innovation” ceremony.

Under the patronage and presence of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is organizing today the second edition of the “Creators of Innovation Forum,” with the participation of institutions and companies from both the public and private sectors related to the Hajj and Umrah system. The forum is part of the Ministry’s role in supporting and promoting a culture of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship among its staff, innovators, and pioneers in the Hajj and Umrah sectors, to provide the best services to the guests of Allah. It features four competitive tracks: the “Innovators Award,” highlighting the outstanding efforts of companies in providing innovative products for pilgrims; the “Talented” competition, attracting talented individuals and engaging them in the Ministry’s activities and programs; the “Seha Thon” competition, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to showcase creative solutions addressing health challenges faced by pilgrims; and the “Story of the Place” event, aiming to foster competition among startups, innovators, and creators to present their initiatives and ideas to relevant authorities. The forum aims to strengthen the integration of efforts and roles between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Hajj and Umrah companies, stimulate achievement among companies to enhance services for pilgrims, highlight successful creative and pioneering models in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, and realize the Ministry’s vision of creating a unique and facilitated religious experience. The forum concluded by honoring the winners of the “Seha Thon” awards for innovative initiatives in providing health solutions to pilgrims. In the “Pilgrim Health” track, the first place went to the “Innovatively” team for their project providing advanced and continuous care for pilgrims’ feet, and the second place went to the “Wazen” team for their project managing communication between pilgrims and medical clinics. In the “Emergency Transport” track, the “Blackbat” team won for inventing a drone-based emergency system connecting healthcare providers to in-transit cases. In the “Call Centers” track, first place went to the “Feedback” team for designing a digital survey platform facilitating pilgrims’ health data sharing. In the “Social Innovation Initiatives in Hajj” track, the “Enjad” team won for developing a system using artificial intelligence to locate those needing emergency intervention. In the “Core Services” category, first place was awarded to “Nozli,” second place to “Al-Adhlaa,” and third place to “Al-Zamazma.” In the “Work System” category, “Al-Adhlaa” also received first place for their Business Intelligence and Decision-Making Center initiative. In the “Enrichment Services” category, first place went to “Mutawwify Hujjaj al-Duwal al-Arabiyya,” second place to “Quraish” and “Adhan” for domestic Hajj services. In the “Digital Services” category, first place went to “Wazen” and second place to “Al-Dhakerin” for pilgrims’ services. The ceremony also included exhibitions by the creative teams participating in the Ambassador of Innovation program across its various tracks, as well as showcases of products and services from startups graduated from the Hajj and Umrah business accelerator, presented to a selection of investors, alongside an investor networking area.
