The Prince of the Madinah Region inspects the Pilgrims Reception and Welcome Center.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan, Governor of the Madinah Region and Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Committee in the region, inspected the Hajj Welcome and Reception Center on Hijrah Road to review the system of services provided to the Guests of Allah and the preparations made to receive pilgrims arriving to perform Hajj this year, and to ensure the smooth progress of work in a manner that guarantees the comfort of the Guests of Allah and the swift completion of procedures related to their services with ease and convenience. He reviewed the workflow mechanisms and the services provided to land pilgrims arriving from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Jeddah Islamic Port, in addition to pilgrims arriving to visit Madinah after completing the rituals. The Governor of the Madinah Region observed the operational indicators of the Welcome Center, which monitor arrivals and dispatching automatically, and the plan to enhance service quality through screens that track the movement of arriving buses and complete procedures within no more than 120 seconds by verifying pilgrim guidance and the readiness of their accommodation facilities to receive them. During the tour, Prince Salman bin Sultan listened to an explanation of the components of the Welcome Center, which include the support and assistance center for transport services, health clinics, ambulance transport services, as well as the security and safety system, integrated operational services in the reception halls, bus routes, charitable warehouse headquarters, transport companies, and other administrative buildings, within the duties and tasks of the Welcome Center.
