Ministry of Hajj and Umrah: Over 1.68 Million Umrah Pilgrims from Outside the Kingdom During Ramadan
وزارة الحج والعمرة: أكثر من 1.68 مليون معتمر من خارج المملكة خلال شهر رمضان
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the number of overseas Umrah pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom during the month of Ramadan exceeded 1.68 million. This figure reflects the growing demand for Umrah, supported by the services and facilities provided by the Kingdom. These efforts have enabled the Guests of Rahman to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The Ministry explained that reservations for praying in the Rawdah Sharifa exceeded 1.1 million bookings from pilgrims of 155 nationalities. This highlights the wide reach and accessibility of digital services, facilitating organized visits through streamlined procedures. Regarding direct care for the Guests of Rahman, the "Nusuk Enayah" centers—totaling 30 locations across Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah—provided more than 153,000 services in 11 languages. These services included guidance, field support, and beneficiary assistance. Meanwhile, the Guests of Rahman Care Center (1966) handled over 19.7 thousand reports and inquiries, with a resolution rate exceeding 93.3%, reflecting rapid response times and high-quality service execution. To support decision-making and enhance integration between entities, the Monitoring and Control Center provided over 80 dashboards utilized by more than 200 agencies. These tools allow for real-time service monitoring, operational data analysis, performance oversight, and informed decision-making. Furthermore, the Ministry’s inspection teams conducted over 21.5 thousand field inspection tours during Ramadan. These tours covered housing facilities and service providers to verify compliance with regulations and contribute to elevating the quality of services provided to the Guests of Rahman. The Ministry emphasized that these efforts are an extension of the directives of the Wise Leadership—may Allah support them—to care for the Guests of Rahman, ensuring an integrated experience that enhances their comfort and safety throughout their spiritual journey.
