مركز الرصد والتحكم بوزارة الحج والعمرة يتابع تفويج الحجاج واستعدادات المتعجلين
The Monitoring and Control Center at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is tracking the movement of pilgrims on the second day of Tashreeq, which is expected to witness large numbers of those rushing to perform the stoning ritual in preparation for their departure to Mecca for the Farewell Tawaf. The center works diligently to ensure smooth movement and the safety of the Guests of Allah across various pilgrim flow routes. It relies on advanced technical infrastructure that enables real-time monitoring of congestion indicators and data analysis, allowing it to issue immediate directives and enhance rapid response efficiency to any emergencies, thus improving the flexibility of pilgrim movement and smooth transit. The Monitoring and Control Center is one of the key technical pillars of this year’s Hajj system, playing a leading role in managing operational processes by linking various surveillance and field-monitoring systems at the Grand Mosque and holy sites, providing interactive screens that display real-time field performance indicators to support decision-making and guide field teams accurately and efficiently. The center operates according to a unified operational model integrating systems related to Hajj, including crowd flow, transportation, and aviation, as well as entry data at border points, providing a comprehensive view of the pilgrim’s journey from arrival until completion of rituals. This integration has helped reduce waiting times at air entry points to less than 40 minutes, thanks to integration with flight-tracking systems and improved reception readiness. Center teams track pilgrims’ bus movements using smart technologies that generate accurate movement maps, aiding in organizing the flow and preventing congestion on critical routes, especially during peak times, in coordination with over 400 entities. The center embodies the digital transformation in managing the Hajj system, representing a strategic step toward providing a smooth and safe experience for the Guests of Allah by improving service quality, enhancing compliance, monitoring field performance, and offering real-time solutions that support pilgrims’ comfort and safety at every stage of their spiritual journey.
