تفعيل غرفة عمليات خاصة لتيسير قدوم ضيوف الرحمن في ظل الأحداث التي تشهدها المنطقة
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has activated a special operations room aimed at resolving all challenges and providing services to the Guests of Rahman arriving from outside the Kingdom. This initiative, carried out in cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation and relevant authorities, aims to ensure the comfort and safety of the Guests of Rahman and enable them to perform their rituals with ease and security. This announcement came during the speech of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, at the opening of the "Umrah and Ziyarah Forum," currently being held at the King Salman International Convention Center in Madinah under the slogan "A History Told at Every Stop." He emphasized the high readiness of the Ministry and related entities to handle all emergency changes in light of the ongoing events in the region. He noted that the number of Umrah performers arriving from outside the Kingdom this year reached 18 million, representing a growth rate exceeding 214% compared to 2022 and 2025. He commended the support and empowerment provided by the Kingdom's leadership—may Allah protect them—and their utmost care for the Umrah and Ziyarah sector, as well as the efforts aimed at caring for the Guests of Rahman and serving those visiting the Two Holy Mosques. His Excellency the Minister pointed out that the satisfaction rate among Umrah performers rose to 94% in 2025. Furthermore, the capacity for visiting the Rawdah Sharif doubled, with the number of visitors reaching more than 15.6 million during the past year. He also noted that the number of historical and enrichment sites and destinations that have been developed has reached 87. It is worth noting that the third edition of the "Umrah and Ziyarah Forum" represents a platform that brings partners together to exchange expertise, discuss opportunities, and build partnerships. The forum includes an accompanying exhibition featuring more than 150 exhibitors and is sponsored by more than 50 partners and sponsors. It also features the organization of more than 50 workshops and specialized sessions, alongside the signing of over 5,000 agreements and memoranda of understanding, which contribute to enhancing innovation and opening new horizons for developing the Umrah and Ziyarah service ecosystem.
