Deputy Governor of Makkah Region inspects the holy sites

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the region, inspected the holy sites on an initial tour, during which he was briefed on the preparations of a number of authorities and the readiness of facilities to receive the guests of Rahman during the Hajj of the current year 1445 AH.Prince Saud bin Mishaal began his tour by visiting Arafat's shrine, and listened to an explanation of the 4 shelter centers in the holy sites, two of which are in Arafat with a capacity of 9,300 pilgrims, as well as the Me'aisem shelter, which accommodates 6,000 pilgrims, in addition to three service buildings, and finally the shelter center in Muzdalifah and accommodates 28,000 pilgrims and contains 5 residential, administrative and health buildings.The Deputy Governor of Makkah Region also visited models of pilgrims' camps in Arafat and was briefed on the equipment they contain, then moved to the Mount of Mercy area and listened to an explanation of the project to develop and improve the areas adjacent to the mountain, which covers an area of 200,000 square meters, and the project includes public parking for buses, lighting the mountain and the surrounding area, and improving climate mitigation columns and water strips.After that, Prince Saud bin Mishaal went to Muzdalifah and stood on the field on the humanization project of the disembarkation stations in Muzdalifah, which is located on an area of 27,000 m2, and was implemented to accommodate additional numbers of pilgrims up to 18 thousand pilgrims.
