According to the Ministry of Health, the mobile stroke unit contributed to rapid intervention that saved lives in the central area of the Grand Mosque, which sees high density of pilgrims. This rapid intervention, part of the urgent care pathway under the Saudi Health Care Model, helped raise the quality of health services provided to pilgrims and facilitate access to them.
