His Royal Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden

HRH Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard on Tuesday at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Saud Al-Sati. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations, regional and international developments, and Sweden's condemnation of the Iranian attacks and solidarity with affected states, along with the need to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. They also discussed the humanitarian situation in Gaza and Israeli violations of the truce in Lebanon, and the importance of intensifying international efforts to halt escalation in the region.
