The Cabinet approved the updated State Revenues Law during a session held in Jeddah. The law establishes a structured framework for managing government revenues by clarifying roles and responsibilities across relevant entities, improving revenue forecasting mechanisms over the medium and long term, and regulating collection procedures, payment arrangements, and installment plans under defined controls. The Ministry of Finance noted that the update aims to strengthen governance and transparency of public revenues, raise compliance levels in the settlement of dues, and support financial sustainability in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
