Saudi Minister of Finance Heads Delegation at Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meetings

Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan headed the Kingdom's delegation at the Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meetings, held June 16–19, 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan, under the theme "Regional Integration for Sustainable Prosperity." Minister Aljadaan stressed the importance of the IsDB's Concessional Fund as a collective responsibility of member countries to support least-developed countries facing financing gaps, debt pressures, and food and energy insecurity. He also affirmed Saudi Arabia's appreciation for the IsDB's role in promoting economic cooperation and reiterated the Kingdom's continuous support for sustainable and comprehensive development across the Islamic world.
